1. General Instructions:
Before beginning your projects, wash glass surfaces in soapy water and dry thoroughly. Follow instructions on FolkArt Enamel bottles for curing. Refer to project photos for suggested pattern placement.2. Birthday Glass:
Position Make a Wish pattern 3/4" from rim of glass. Apply paint to stencil design with Spouncer. Stencil additional designs as desired.
3. Place Card Holder:
Coil a circle of hot glue on bottom of ornament and set aside to cool. Randomly stencil ornament as desired. Let dry.
4. Fun Party Plate:
Flip plate to decorate underside. Flip Party Time design so image is reversed, center on plate and secure in place with tape. Apply paint to stencil design with Spouncer. Let dry. Stencil a star border around center design. Let dry.
Bake Method of Curing FolkArt Enamels:
Allow your piece to dry for one hour to be sure all layers of paint have dried. Place the piece in a cool oven. Set the oven temperature to 350ºF and bake for 30 minutes. Glass must heat gradually with the oven to avoid breakage. Do not place glass in a hot oven. After 30 minutes, turn the oven off. Let glass cool completely in oven. Do not use for 72 hours.
Air Dry Method for Curing FolkArt Enamels:
Air Dry the project for 21 days before using.
NOTE: Food or beverages should not make contact with the painted design. When painting stemware, allow 3/4” along the top rim of the glass to remain paint free.
