From Pigment to Paint...
Plaid plays a hand in almost every stage of the production process
of our products. Let's take paint, for example. Plaid chemists experiment
with various formulas to produce the highest quality paints and
mediums. After the chemist is satisfied with the formulation, our
paints are then manufactured in our plant in Decatur, GA. We even
grind the pigment ourselves and mix the colors with a computerized
colorizing system. The bottles are then filled and labeled and shipped
to our customers from our distribution center in Stone Mountain,
GA.
Comprehensive Programs
Plaid prides itself on providing comprehensive programs for each
Plaid brand. We not only produce the product itself, we provide
an entire product system that ensures the best success. These include
complementary products, tools and accessories that allow you, the
crafter, to experiment and make diverse, original creations. Plaid
realizes that our consumers are looking for inspiration and instruction
when it comes to crafting. Therefore, Plaid produces more than 100
books per year to support our brands. These books are packed with
project ideas and technique tips, and feature the latest in design
trends. Plaid began as an instructional book publisher, and we still
hold true to those roots today.
Committment

We are committed to ensuring that all of our products meet governmental
regulations for safe product content, proper labeling and hazard
warnings, and that they meet all shipping guidelines for safety.
This protects you, your family and the environment from dangerous
chemicals and fumes.
